HAND-MADE BEER

HAND-MADE BEER

All our beer is hand-made and vegan friendly.  We take the upmost care producing it, packaging it, and selling it.  It is natural, rather than forced, carbonated.  We let nature take its time and don’t use anti-foam, pasturisation, or filtering.

We use amber 330ml bottles and a gold caps to give the beer an clean no fuss look.  A single high-quality, matt finish, textured paper label is wrapped around the bottle to give the beer a great feel in the hand.

As our beer is hand-made each individual bottle is 100% unique and has its own personality.  It is a product of how and where it was produced.  So what is the process?

HOW OUR BEER IS MADE

Our beer starts life as Maris Otter Barley in fields mainly in Wiltshire.

Once harvested it is floor malted by hand and delivered straight from the local maltster to the microbrewery.

It enters our brewhouse where we turn it into beer…

The beer is then bottled by hand along with some of the yeast to create natural CO2 inside the bottle.

Beer labels are then prepared and hand-stamped with the name of the beer, alcohol volume, and best before date.

Finally labels are hand-rolled onto the bottle and placed inside a box.

Our beer is then left for one month before being considered ready for consumption.

The flavours continue to develop inside the bottle, so this is true bottle conditioned beer.  We are proud of the results and hope you are too!
